Book Discussion Group

Held in Or Zarua's Library on Sunday evening's once every six weeks and open to congregants and friends, Or Zarua's book discussions provide another way for O"Z members to meet with one another in a casual setting.
Book discussions are a great opportunity to read a good book for the pleasure of reading and to learn more about Jewish history, Israel and contemporary Jewish life in a convivial forum for sharing insights. Book selections cover fiction and nonfiction with Jewish subjects or content, both classic and newly published works. Ordinarily, a volunteer congregant leads the discussion; on special occasions, an author, including many O"Z Congregants, will lead the discussion of his or her work.
Information about the next book discussion is always available online at the Events & News page of this website, in the current newsletter and in the weekly congregational email.
