Or Zarua's Cemetery

Congregation Or Zarua owns and maintains a cemetery section at Beth El Cemetery in Washington Township, New Jersey. Beth El Cemetery is located approximately 10 miles north of the George Washington Bridge.

Our plots are available for sale only to current Or Zarua members and for burial of persons of the Jewish faith. Our cemetery is well maintained on a regular basis and is attractively landscaped with trees and shrubbery at both ends and with a seating area in the middle. Otherwise, we intend for the graves to be uniformly covered by grass, providing a serene and beautiful final resting place for loved ones, very much in accord with the aesthetic of our building and with Or Zarua's values. The headstone for each plot can be chosen by the owner.

We urge our members to “plan ahead” by purchasing plots while your family is in good health. Waiting for the moment when the necessity of finding a place for burial finally occurs can be stressful and create unnecessary financial pressure for those families at a difficult time.

Current pricing is available through the Congregation's Executive Director, who can be reached in the Synagogue office by phone at 1-212-452-2310, Ext. 14.
