Bring the whole family for a special Kabbalat Shabbat service for families followed by a festive meal with singing and merriment. Children's activities provided.
MONDAY NIGHT MEAL DISTRIBUTION
Become one of the OZ volunteers who serve pasta the last two Monday nights each month at the Neighborhood Coalition Shelter Residence. Spend an hour a month and make someone happy, and you as well!
GLEANINGS
Join with fellow Congregants on Erev Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve to glean and pack food contributed by neighborhood caterers for distribution to adults and children in need of help throughout the city.
HEVRA KADISHA
The Hevra Kadisha performs all traditional functions of a Hevra Kadisha at a time of loss. Hevra members guide, comfort and provide services for the mourner through all aspects of the funeral, burial and mourning process.
MEMBER RECEPTIONS
Meet new and long-standing members of the congregation at various times of the year to kibitz, get to know one another, and share news and viewpoints. Congregants commonly host member receptions in their homes or at arranged venues.
