Hatikvah,  The Hope. This is the national anthem of Israel, and it’s more than just asong—it’s a reflection of the deep yearning of the Jewish people for freedom, self-determination, and a homeland after centuries of exile and hardship.

Hatikvah dates back to the late 19th century, during the early days of the Zionist movement, and its words and melody capture the spirit of resilience and optimism. We’ll  be exploring its musical elements but also its biblical, artistic, historical and emotional significance, which continues to inspire Israelis and Jews everywhere today. Join us!
