Join us as we gather as a community to celebrate the birth and yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu. The evening will include dinner and a screening of the film, “A Father’s Kaddish,” followed by a dialogue between the subject of the film, Steven Branfman, and the head of our Hevra Kadisha, Ben Charkow. In the coming weeks we will provide more details about the film, but those that want a sneak peek can learn about the film here: https://www.afatherskaddish.com/. Steven will be bringing to Or Zarua a number of chawans (Japanese tea bowls) he made as his personal kaddish while mourning the death of his son.
At the end of the program, we’ll be saying Psalms as well as prayers for the hostages and Israel which will provide an opportunity for anyone in mourning or observing a yahrzeit to say Kaddish.
