On April 1st, our community will be gathering together to honor the 80th birthday of Or Zarua’s founding leader, Rabbi Wechsler! Rabbi Wechsler will be making the trip back to Or Zarua from Israel to celebrate his simhah with us on Shabbat Hagadol, so we knew we had to do something special!
As we will be doing our monthly Kiddush in the Round in honor of Rabbi Wechsler, we hope that you join us for that Shabbat! There will be a lovely sit down kiddush, birthday cake and toasts honoring a man that our community owes so much. It will be a great time to schmooze, meet and spend time with other congregants. Whether you were a part of the founding membership more than 30 years ago or have joined in the past few months, we hope that you will attend this wonderful occasion with your entire family!
