Come PARTICIPATE at Or Zarua, where we do good and well, together.
Take part. Pitch in. Change the world.
Active participation is our Hallmark.
Tikkun Olam happens when we work together. Our Hesed Committee creates opportunities for congregants to give back. We volunteer at the New York Common Pantry, serve meals at our local Neighborhood Coalition Housing, and run annual food and winter clothing drives. We partner with DOROT to deliver hoilday packages to East Side seniors. Our annual Tzedakah Super Bowl Party raises funds for Project ORE and the Met Council.
“Participate” also means having fun as a group. And we do!
Join our Book Club – fascinating books and discussions run deep.
Take part in learning to read Torah or lead services – 90 of us already have.
Join Bir’nana, our a capella group, and be part of something beautiful.
Sign up for our Kesher Israel committee and bring the Israel connection to OZ.
New faces. Great people. Fast friends.
Meet Or Zarua Young Professionals (OZYP), where people meet and make connections. From Shabbat dinners to rooftop Happy Hours to engaging speakers, OZYP creates an atmosphere conducive to friendship and future.
