Friday, Dec. 8, Kabbalat Shabbat/Ma’ariv at 5:30 pm followed by Bir’nana, then dinner
Bir’nana, Or Zarua’s (mostly) acapella chorus, will be singing and slinging the musical latkes of some of our Hanukkah hits of years past. They’ll also be debuting a new piece, “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel,” based on an African-American spiritual, with an arrangement by Scott Stein and new lyrics by Pete Wolf Smith.
