We may not literally swing a chicken above our heads but as we gather together on Thursday, Sept. 8, 7:00 pm we will look to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to examine repentance and atonement and how these concepts, poetical, metaphorical and sometimes absurdly comical, live within us as poets. The Gates of Heaven are opening and so, too, are our minds and hearts to the poetry we have within us.

Join us as we share our poems and the works of others that are meaningful to us to express the complex task of taking stock and emerging renewed in 5783. We will begin with a small craft discussion on imagistic tropes in poetry and then, as always sip some wine as we share our works and the discussions that grow out of them.
