Celebrate Purim 5781 with Or Zarua!
Purim is on-Line and so is the Shpiel!

“Stop Kvetching and Carry On!”
Thursday, Feb. 25, 7:00 pm

We are on-line for our Purim celebration this year. Join us by registering below for the MEGILLAH reading and PURIM SHPIEL: HOW TO SUCCEED IN SHUSHAN WITHOUT REALLY KVETCHING. Join with the OZ community first ever virtual Purim in this unique time in the world. Spin groggers (or bang on pots!) and make noise at our ZOOM Megillah reading and celebration. It will be the only time when we ask you to wear a mask while you’re in your own home! (Or any Purim costume will do!)
Join us at 7:00 pm when the fun starts with a festive Ma’ariv. Or L’Atid students will help introduce the Megillah reading, and we will chant the Megillah from ZOOM boxes. Everyone will be on-line! We are looking forward to the unique and creative production that our OZ Shpielers have been rehearsing with writer-director Judy Buchman-Ziv. It’s a new world preparing for a ZOOM based parody play, but the shpiel must go on!
As we sang in the finale of last year’s Shpiel, “they can’t stop the Jews!” Come celebrate our raucous holiday, in costume. Get your noise-maker ready and prepare to hear the parody-filled music of the on-line Purim Shpiel.
Come for the “whole Megillah!” and join the morning minyan on Friday at 7:15 am, Feb. 26, the day of Purim. Register below and contact Helene with any questions.
