Join us online for a unique program in honor of Yom HaShoah u’Gevurah, Holocaust Remembrance & Heroism Day. This year we will emphasize the “gevurah” — heroism — aspect of the day. OZ past-president Michael Schwartz will speak about the religious significance of the Allied victory in WWII. Also, OZ member Daniel Panner, Principal Violist of the New York City Opera Orchestra recorded moving selections to frame our evening, and Rabbi Bolton will reflect on spiritual heroism and finding strength in dark times. Memorial prayers will be chanted in memory of our loved ones and all those millions who have no one to say Kaddish for them.
