Hanukkah Dinner with Bir’nana

Friday, December 8
Kabbalat Shabbat/Ma’ariv at 5:30 pm followed by dinner and a performance by Bir’nana 

Bir’nana, Or Zarua’s (mostly) a cappella group, will perform at the dinner. They will be singing and slinging the musical latkes of some of the Hanukkah hits of years past. They will also be debuting a new piece.

Hanukkah Party with Candle-Lighting

The Great Hanukkah Debate: Was Greek Culture Good for the Jews?
Gather around the Or Zarua Hanukkah menorah as we light the 5th candle together. Enjoy a feast of falafel and Greco-Syrian delicacies that were enjoyed in the Seleucid Empire. Be part of a debate about whether or not the merging of cultures at the time was beneficial for the Jews.

Family Hanukkah Party with Or L’Atid

Wednesday, December 13, 6:00 pm

Families with kids of all ages are invited to celebrate Hanukkah with Or L’Atid! Enjoy dinner, Hanukkah treats, and fun and games (including a dreidel tournament!). Plus, we’ll light candles together for the seventh night of Hanukkah.
